Diabetes isn't always visible, but the daily burdens are very real. Since insulin's discovery in 1921, Canada has led the charge in diabetes research. Despite no cure yet, incredible advances have been made in treatment for Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes.

Non-profits like JDRF and Diabetes Canada drive this progress, relying on donations to fund critical research. This November, for National Diabetes Awareness Month, we're supporting JDRF.
